Financial Aid

The College of Business here at K-State is super generous with the scholarships that they gave out in the financial aid and that has helped me in many of my peers land jobs in some of the most competitive industries such as investment banking, private equity management consulting. It allows you to just focus more on school rather than some of the outside noise.

In the spring, you fill out a scholarship application and it's one application one-stop-shop for the whole university, College of Business, and department-specific and then I get scholarships from the university as a whole, some from the College of Business, and then some straight from the Accounting department.

A lot of the scholarships in the Accounting department and College of Business, in general, come from corporate partners and corporate sponsors. So one benefit of that is they get to see the students that are the best-of-the-best the school has to offer and also for future employers, it's a great way to build relationships with them as well.
