Here we get a lot of hands on experience, whether that be just in the school with the speakers that come in, I've gotten to meet some great mentors that have come out of just the the talks that I get to we get to have here in the Entrepreneurship Center, then there's also like physically leaving the building leaving campus going to explore, and we've had the opportunity to go to Topeka I have to go go as far away as Texas just to go, all they ask is for you to go see new businesses and and go experience them. And in return, you get the awesome network that comes with that company.
One of my favorite moments for hands on experience would be in the security and portfolio analysis class, where you're able to get hands on experience managing the portfolio that K State has, you get assigned about six companies where you look over, you really dive deeply into these companies you to choose and pitch to the class whether we should buy more, sell more. You can also go to outside companies or we should buy that and put that into our portfolio we're not and you get to all decide as a group.
Professors are not afraid to try something new. I had a sales professor who brought in a very popular company and had to sell their products to them. And let me tell you, it was crazy. Trying to sell products to someone who professionally sells them seven days a week was an entirely different experience. I just think that was a really incredible opportunity to take something like lecturing and flip it around so that we're learning hands on.
